4mo exhaust....

Hey guys.. Right as most of u know i dont have a Gti, but find this forum the most helpful for the car overall. I am thinking of like Millteks etc but!! I wont gain any power for the money it costs for one, so i was thinking, wud the standard 4motion exhaust system fit directly onto the 1.4 16v? I am looking at this because if it has the tailpipes u get through milltek standard then it wud still look alright as i already have an exhaust going through the 4mo valance i have on.

This would be great if possible as its better than paying 300+ for no gain. I know I can buy the tailpipe from milltek and have it welded onto a standard exhaust, that way it looks good and i dont have to worry about the daft noise ya get lol.

no, the pipework is different on the tailpipe and i believe the center pipe is different too but not sure on that one.

why not get one made up? get what you want and will prob work out cheaper, and you get the work guaranteed

hmmm, yeh i could do. Ya think these garages ya go to can custom make an exhaust and put the 4mo tailend like the millteks on? Surely? That wud cost half the price.

 i paid £280 for cat back system made to how i wanted it that is all you should do then you can have what you like m8

just tell them you want similar to 4mo tailpipe is there anyone up your way like powerflow just had quick look here is one says they do high performance exhausts/custom exhausts

4mo exhaust will fit...... You'd have to grind out your spare wheel well and weld 2 exhaust brackets and remove the rear axle. Job done lol.

On more serious note, No due to floorplan differences.
