hello, new owner with a few q's
« on: 02 November 2010, 07:18 »
Hi, just purchased this off a mate who needed the space..

Mk2 16v.. the reason it ended up only possession is that it was so low the previous owner knocked a whole in the sumo and ran it dry!

So basically ill be doing an engine transplant and some resto work on her. Just wondered what my choices were engine wise? Thinking 20vt, but hats a pretty expensive plan of action...

VR6's are pretty cheap?! You'll be needing a sump guard then too!

20v Turbo, raise the car as well far too low.  Will look good when fully restored, look forward to more pics.
