My new Car
« on: 01 November 2010, 22:10 »
Well I finally did it and PX'ed my Mk5 R32 for my new ride!

It was costing too much in petrol (£800 a month is a bit silly now!) so I swapped my R32 for a 57 plate GT sport 170 diesel.

My new Golf has loads of extras , Xenons, DSG, cruise control, folding mirrors lots of toys!

I'm really enjoying it actually, first time I have ever owned an auto and its really good!

The fuel figure are great to! 500+ miles to a tank instead of 220!

Anyway here are a few pics of my new car:

Going to start modding soon, exhaust induction, remap, wheels lowered just need to do some research when I get time!

Cheers guys! It's no R32 but its helping me get over my R! I miss the noise and the pull of the R though but hopefully a few mods will help me get over the R!

Nice car there mate

I've been looking at these for a while myself! My fiance has an A4 with the 140hp mapping, and that pulls lovely.
So would imagine the 170 to be a very good drive? She gets 600+ miles to the tank in hers.

I do nearly 100 miles every day just to and from work!

I work shifts too so working nights and all the empty roads/motorways didn't help with the fuel economy either!
