Single wiper
« on: 03 February 2005, 12:39 »
My car has had the single wiper conversion from it's previous owner, done by awesome GTI, the actual wiper arm is badly worn and has some rust on it, plus there is no bottom cap on it and it just looks ugly.

Can i get a replacement arm, will any one do? or is there a special one for the single wiper conversion?

Cheers

You could put anything on but ideally you want a nice straight wiper arm.

Mine is from these guys:

There is a cover for the fixing nut but I had lost it at the time!

Got it as a complete kit, so no idea how much the arm is - speak to Wipex, they are dead helpful :)

yeah you can weld in a bit and you have to cut out a bit for clearance as well. i have one sitting in my shed and can take some photos for you to show you how its done! i found a monostyle wiper in a scrappy and got it for a tenner! so have no-use for the modified one!!!!!
