My new winter alloys - Satin Black Monza's

Heres a few pictures of my new winter alloys. The wheels are genuine BBS Mk5 18" Monza's which have been re-finished in satin black ( editon 30 style ) 

My Monza Shadows are now safely stored away with three coats of wax on and will be back on in the summer with a nice set of new summer boots on

I'll try and take some better pictures over the weekend as its a bit grey and miserble out here today...... Overall I'm pretty pleased with them tbo. They look even better in the flesh but of course they won't be all to everyones taste.

^ Thanks very much guys for the nice comments..... Admittedly they take a bit of getting used to as you can't beat a nice gleaming set of Monza Shadows on the GTI. However, in the flesh the black wheels standout quite nicely on a white car and look fairly aggressive.

Thanks for the comment. Yeh black wheels on a black GTI would just look a bit to drug dealer-ish.......... As I'm a southern softy and we hopefully won't see the weather you guys sometimes get up north, I've just decided to keep my stock tyres on for winter. Come the summer they will need replacing anyway and therefore I shall treat my car to a nice new set of continintal sport contact 3's.

Lovin the black wheels. They suit the car.
Although I think any black wheels go with white and red cars but like you say black on black is too drug-dealer-ish
