Vax 6131 V George
« on: 28 October 2010, 06:43 »
So looking into getting a wet vacuum and wanting to know what people are using on here. So far ive got it down to two vacuums the Vax 6131 and the George..

The George is winning at the min as ive see some bad reports on Vax but would still like to hear what you lot have to say about them.

no probs, you wont regret it trust me, the amount you will use compared to myself and guy it will last you a long long time mate.

a few tips here to help you keep it in tip top condition,

"always" give the main tank and collection chamber a good rinse out and a clean after "every use", specialy the filter or it will start smelling manky and eventually rot.

dont over do it with the chemicals in your spray tank as this will limit the life of the pump so keep your dilutions high.for really manky seats/carpets etc use a strong mix in a spray bottle for spot cleaning etc.
be carefull with the spray head as they are expensive to replace.

if you look after george, george will look after you. bloody awesome wetvac.

George all the way... had mine just over a year and use him all the time... like everyday

I think the A26A kit is the one you need.... the hand held spray/extraction is what you need for car interiors
