Any suggestions on where to look!
« on: 20 October 2010, 16:16 »
So need to find out from Bell what my renewal is im sure its going to go up due to an accident this yr which was my fault :(

rang brentcare a week or so agao to see what cover would be like, 2 accidents in the last 2 yrs, all mods declared: lowered, exhaust, leather interior.

Toad alarm

went for tpft and got quoted £1600!!!! im 26 and due to this accident ive lost my ncd would of had 2 yrs this yr but that went out the window

does £1600 tpft sound like a reasonable price?

Yikes!

You tried Greenlight? I'm a bit of an old geezer with 6 years NCB but mine was less than £300 full comp.

Why not get a cheap daily and put the mk2 on a classic policy.

Well as good a idea that is I haven't got enough money to run, insure, tax, mot 2 cars and theb try and do stuff to the mkII tbh I've always paid high insurance due to silly accidents so its not a shock I've never had insurance lower than 1200 will ring around and see if I can get cheaper else where

Ring your current insurer and call their bluff; say you've had a cheaper quote and ask if they'll play ball

Companies think people are lazy so stick the price up year on year

Mine tried to take the piss this year and increased it from £490 to over £1100

So switched companies and got it for the £490 I paid last year   :smug:
