I know its from halfruads but i have found it to be an exceptional cover.  Also I know that its an all seasons cover but IMO is ideal for in and ourdoors as it has 3 layers, the inside being soft touch with no seams so doesnt scratch anything.  This one is a perfect snug fit on a MK1 and since using it outside the car is always bone dry, the cover never sweats as it is breathable and to date cannot fault it.

Clicky

Don't know if you've made any progress on this but thought i would post how mine sits if you haven't seen it in my Dub Rides thread... It sits perfect when the wings and bumpers are on (they're off in this pic).  And as already said, no matter the weather she is bone dry and never sweats in the sun.  I know yours is going to be used in a garage but though it would still be good for you being soft underneath...
