Yep you read that right but I was only being hypothetical(sp?). No point in changing a GTI for a GTI is there, and I'd have probably got a GTD in the first place if the right deal had been around at the time. I only use my GTI for motorway journeys anyway, about once in a blue moon when the thing actually pokes its bonnet out of my garage, so a Diesel is just as good for my needs. Well a re-mapped one is.
