Calender - Come on chaps !
« on: 15 October 2010, 10:26 »
In case some of you haven't see it as its in the sticky section - http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=169087.0 - Shady is trying to organise a MK5 calendar (as well as all the the other MKs). So far we just have 4 entries. So I'm just trying to rally the troops up to get the cars washed and get snapping away this weekend. Still got 8 more months to fill so if you want your motor in the calendar and world wide fame then get the sponge and bucket out along with the camera.

As you were.

I've come over from the Mk2 section to tell you how excellent our calender was last year.

It's well worth the effort to see your car in print. It's also something pretty nice to keep.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I'm going to get mine cleaned up over the weekend and find a good location for some photos.  Mine is also standard but I love it.

My mk5 is a particularly naff 1.4 at stock ride height on stock 16's, so I won't be entering
Not low enough mk5
Not on the road enough mk3

Thanks Phil, i use AutoGlym Rubber Plus Cleaner - got off a mate who distributes AG stuff in a 5L tin - i really rate it, i use it for tyres, arches, skirts, rear bumper, front grill, engine, the lot!

Yeah i feel like last weekend was possibly the last nice one, Saturday was a good day so i got busy with the camera, took over 60 photos of it!
