I don't disagree with much Jeremy Clarkson says, but I refuse to believe the Golf GTi got worse when the MK2 came out. They're fantastic cars, and still handle as well, if not better than a lot of new cars (tyres permitting!).

I don't disagree with much Jeremy Clarkson says, but I refuse to believe the Golf GTi got worse when the MK2 came out. They're fantastic cars, and still handle as well, if not better than a lot of new cars (tyres permitting!).

and a mk1 owner told me a standard mk1 gti doesnt handle very well  :lipsrsealed:

Mk2 if anything was better than a mk1, bodyshell is a lot stiffer.

TBH mate I don't be-grudge paying his wages, or hammonds or mays..... We pay MP's and Government and they don't do anything but talk out of their ar*es....
