It must be some funky adjusters because stock highline-style MK3 adjusters would not work.

They go in and out, Hella's twist.

not sure what you mean by in and out. Is that the movement of the motor, or the fixing type?

Fair play actually you may be onto something. I've just got a broken old one out as some guy on E38 needs a lenses. There is actually possibly a place for the motor HOWEVER part of the actual lamp is broken so I cannot tell. If anyone has a pic of the back of a Hella twin that would be great as it would be fully sick.

Really. whats pointless about a piece of information that nobody knew concerning their pretty lights? The above diagram should be posted somewhere for all hella twins guys to see.
