headlight adjuster
« on: 12 October 2010, 22:58 »
hi all,

a friend of mine has just got a mk3 gti and is stripping it down, he has the adjusting headlamps on it, with motor loom and the switch, thing is though its not working, the numbers, (1,2,3) do they ment to click into number or is it just a smooth roll from 1 to 3? also is there a fuse for them? as i realy want the motors for my lights

oh yeah before i forget, do the hella quads have a little clip where the motors mount onto, to adjust the angle of the beam?

thanks all

The 1,2, and 3 positions don't click into place Mate they just roll over each position. As for the lights I believe that there is an extra plug on each light that controls the motor. Therefore you would be easier off getting the lights off the car as well.

From memory, standard headlights have a inner lamp that moves, Hellas don't so cannot see anyway that you could use the motors.

I am sure mine did not, how would that work then is it only the outer ones that have a place for the motor.
