and its looking up

Turns out the damage i suffered in the accident isnt taken into consideration

However has a few problems including Rear OS suspension leaking like mad! and a ball joint cover needed replacing

but still charging me £120 and a free Re-M.O.T. sounded good to me?

should be back on the roads by wednesday

Judging from that, for an MOT you cannot have any sharp edges and the doors must open/close. Both the doors and hinges look mullered there, is it even worth the hassle?

What's the condition of the B pillar like? Its going to need 2x new doors, new outer sill welded in, new rear quarter plus lots of spraying ... is it worth it on a car worth maybe £500?

No offence, just might be worth pursuing a new car and continuing to break this one. With that level of damage, I wouldn't feel too confident driving it :(

But ultimately, if you're happy with the rear quarter damage and you can get a cheap pair of doors and just drive it with a damaged outer sill and probably keep on running - but its resale value will be almost nil.

I think Ben's point is that the car will have lost some of it's structural integrity in the crash. If you were to then have another crash the car might not stand up to the impact as it should do. I'm not sure i'd be happy driving around in a car with that kind of damage  :undecided:

No problem  It just means any more maintenance becomes a little moot when the car is beyond economical repair. It drains a little of the fun too, as you know you shouldn't be buying the car any treats/mods - as its so damaged :(

Best of luck with it, as long as the car is safe!

However i need the car for work and until i can get the money together its this or nothing

gutted on the damage man.

running on a small budget might be worth buying another door like you said, but still see what u mean by not wanting to drive it.

Seems strange to say that, the pillar looks damaged in the pic in which case it has lost structual integrity.

Your choice but I would not be happy driving it.

Just chuck a new door on it mate, will look loads better! As for structural integrity, Ive had motorbikes and used my leg as a side impact bar before so that loos fine!  :lipsrsealed:
