+1 on merc 8 holes, you can pick up a set without tyres that need a refurb (good chance to strip them and do them black maybe?) for under £100, although you would need adaptors / tyres can get it all sorted for easily under £400

i have a set of merc avantgardes, same as these http://demonvwforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=8788. freshly refurbished in satin black with brand new amg centre caps, tyres and adapters. pm me if you're interested 

they are 16x7.5 btw not 7" as in link
