Hi Guys,
I have a 5N0 035 730 B fitted to my Mk6 GTI. Will the 7P6 035 730 F fit my car?
I notice that the 730 B have an antenna connection and the 730 F does not.

Is this because the 730 F does not use the 'built in' phone system like the 730 B does with the rSAP profile??

Thanks in advance
Dubz

The 7P6 kit will work fine, it's a premium kit that supports HFP (Hand Free Profile) rather than rSAP only so will work with just about every phone.

It also does voice control, bluetooth A2DP streaming, the only thing it won't do is support SMS messages.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the response.

I received the 730 F from Germany today and do not want to plug it into the car as there was only one multi pin connection and no GSM antenna connection.

Let me just confirm.
A straight swap of the 2 units.
Leave the GSM antenna unconnected (as the is no connection on the 730 F)
As I have the 'Premium Kit' fitted all will work.

Is the any coding required or is it just plug n play?

Thanks Dubz

It should all be plug and play in your car. And yes just leave the GSM aerial unplugged

One thing I have just remembered is the original loom for the 730B will not be wired for both the left and right audio channels, so it will be storing a fault code and won't playback in stereo.

Just needs two wires running from the bluetooth module to the back of the RNS.

Update:
HTC Desire HD - Phonebook didn't download
                    - A2DP working through right side speakers only
                    - Call lists download

iPhone 4 - Phonebook OK
            - A2DP as above
            - Call lists OK

Now I can finally retire my Nokia E90

Hi Steve,

Do you know what the pin outs for the RNS & BT Module are, to enable the stereo playback, to be connected?
