and it wouldnt have ended up the same way as the black one... I regret selling instead of sorting as I ended up worse off in the end.. plus, its not like i can match this one now, whole thing needs a respray..

didn't think they did an Oak green MK1... last green one I had was this colour... not my car BTW

me too, mine was my first mk1, before the days of digi cams... saved it from a scrapper, 1300 swallow tail with series 1 GTI dash and seats, Montreal wheels... kinda miss that too now  :grin:

  All MK1s are small bumper but they are early bumpers.

Ok that's what i ment as they don't look like what I see often on mk1's.
Got to bloody work this weekend  :sad: but really want to work on my car, even start to refurb my wheels. I think the government should enforce that every golf gti should have weekends off to conduct work or tlc on their cars. :laugh:

Yeah the weather does also play a factor in if we can work on our cars  :sad: Has anyone seen this bonnet on ebay?
