Sell - Break - Scrap

So i posted earlier about my car being worse for ware.

On a serious note whats my best option? i could sell the car as a whole for spares and repairs maybe, i mean its not a write off so i could sell it as running?

The other option i had was to break it, take everything apart and sell it individually (a very long process) also my mate said if i was to break the car the scrapys wouldnt take it so i would have to get a company to take it away, which would probably cost the amount i just broke it for!

the final option which i dont want is to scrap it 

I just really want some of your guys wisdom on the best option to make a decent price so i can afford my next car.

stick an ad on that gumtree website selling the car for a couple of hundred, spares or repair, there might be somebody out there looking for a donor car.
