Frog what happened to the free GTI with the house sale? Is it still happening?

Still planning to move down to the south of France, but the project has been postponed for 6 months. The GTI is staying, at least for the time being :nerd:

I won't be changing the wheels on the MX5. Yes, they're tiny and unexciting, but 18" drug-dealer wheels would lokk awful on such an 'old' car. I'm going to keep it as stock as I can, just uprating the brakes because you can't see them and they are quite important

 I meant new wheels as in new car, not literally

p.s. one last request...... can I have a close up of that poster behind the car

Hehe, I'd love to oblige, but it's a photo of my wife and my life wouldn't be worth living if she found I'd been posting it on the Internet

Thanks for all your good wishes. I don't feel like a hairdresser driving the MX5, more like an old codger in a roadster (that's why I decided to steer clear of MGs) Acceleration is a joke after the GTI, but the handling is astonishing.

I had forgotten Asker was an expert on red bumpers. Any tips on buffing up that tired paintwork?

Jeez, bet every woman who's ever had 7 kids wishes they looked like that, I wish I looked like that and I only have had 2
