Decent suspension setup?

Right finally decided to lower my 8v GTI but unsure what's the best setup to go for.
Don't really need to be in the weeds so only wanna go for 40mm drop.
In peoples opinion what's the best setup to go for as I'm looking for comfort as well as cosmetic looks.
Any pics would be cool oh and I'm seating on BBS RXII with 195/45 16's.

Eibach springs on Boge or Koni dampers.

No I made the mistake of buying cheap coilovers.  :rolleyes: but it is a excellent set up.

out of interest, how much would a decent set of coil-overs be likely to cost, seen a few on ebay for around 160-200 quid

From my understanding you can't get a decent set of coilovers for under £200.

@Wayne, so you think that's better than the complete Koni spring damper packages you can get?

Starting price for something half decent is probably around £600...nearer £1000 for a kit I'd be happy to run.

Springs/dampers will give bettern handling/ride...but not go as low, if dumped in the weeks, rock hard, abysmal handling is your thing.

And Eibach anti-roll bars on top.

Wietec ultra GT are excellent, around £350 for a fixed 40mm

They were reccomended to me by venom when I ordered some Koni strt, they rang me up and basically told me the weitecs are the same price and much better, which I though was rather nice of them :)
