« on: 02 October 2010, 08:14 »

Polishing will remove the wax yes, but don't worry you shouldn't need to clay again. You should only need to polish every 3-4 months, and clay every 6 months maybe.

You could really do with removing the wax before starting to polish so i'm going to go back on what I said earlier and say yes you really could do with claying again, alternatively, use a mix of APC and this should remove whatever wax is left on the car, then you will be ok to polish again without claying first.

If your going to polish the car your best to remove all the wax and what other products you've add on top of it. When I want to this I just was the car with washing up liquid/ APC to strip it right back to the paint.

Thought it would make sense to do so, then build up the layers on top.

Nice one.
