ok people i have a question for you as i just want to no if m car is normal or not.
mk3 golf gti 8v
when engine running and oil filler cap off how much presure if any do you have coming from the hole?

why do you ask?
You should get some induction suck/pressure from the engine, as effectlively you are un-sealing the engine and allowing un-metered air into the intake.

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.

should see a fair bit of smoke come out of there, plus you have now added an air leak to the intake system so it may run a bit funny
