Quick coil pack question. 3pin or 6pin
« on: 30 September 2010, 11:47 »
Coil pack has died.

Phoned up euro and there are two types. A 3pin version and a 6pin version.

I can't get back to the car until late tonight and need to get the new one delivered asap as I need to get to Essex Saturday morning. Oh also need to move house tomorrow.

Any one able to tell us which one is for my 2.0l 8v gti. Engine code AGG? Or are there two types for this code?

Cheers boys. Karl

Pretty sure it's the 3 pin version, but until someone comes to confirm don't buy.

It was at home and I was at work. Ended up having to go to vw. £104 including VAT. £35 from euro if I hadn't needed it for the weekend.

I know but I needed it. Moving house then stereo show. Euro couldn't deliver till Monday and no breakers had one locally.

Would of been cheaper to drive to wembley like I did for the wishbones but couldn't be arsed.
