Well whoever's car it is they shall be going to see there mechanic alot less than when he/she owned the VW.

I've only had my car a year and the comparison to owning Jap is massive.

Good times for me then

Did wonder what sort of response i would get on here. I love the car at the moment is completely different to my vr6 but in a good way, can cruise along gettin 40+mpg and then open it up and have fun with the vtec! Exhaust will be going asap, gettin a spoon n1 if that means anything to anyone here  Il think about new wheels beggining ofnext year. Going to be doing boring stuff on it for now like oil change, brake discs etc etc

Yeah I know what a spoon zorst is, not sure if it's any good for your car but my mate speaks highly of a place called TDI north or something like that which are top notch for civics. Not sure why their called tdi north in that case, but regarded very highly by CTR owners

My brother broke down in his 57 Leon due to a battery problem that couldn;t be sorted on the spot and the recovery guy said that the car's he least has to attend to over all is the Honda Civic, didn't mention which model or age he actually said so think it was accross the range. He also said that almost all of them can be sorted at roadside and get them on there way.

So good times ahead for you mate, fingers crossed.

Seems like a Type-R will be my next car ... considering you can pick one up for less than £3500.
