Dash lights

Hello,

I went to turn my lights on this morning and i had no dash lights. Not good with the mornings getting dark. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be.

There is a dimmer doofler just above where the headlight switch is, you havent caught that have you?

Ha ha, if its not that its worth popping out the light switch and dimmer jobbie and make sure there arent any loose connections

Thats the first thing i looked at, and no loose connections. Does anyone know where i can get a new light switch.

VW sell em, duno how much. Or you could just go to the scrappies and get one of any mk2

Don't take 1 off any mk2, there's at least 2 different types. (Early and late I guess). A mate put a late one on his early mk2, it livened up an earth and nearly burnt his car down... Trust me on this 1!!

I thought the headlight switches were the same?
