Hey guys,

I am sorry if this has been asked before but has anybody got any pics of MK5 golfs standard height or with a 40mm drop with RS6 or RS4 wheels on in 18's??

I am not that keen on the monza wheels and I know the wife would kurb the sh## out of the blades!

What do peeps prefer??

Thank you!
..........same here mate don't like the Monza alloys(mine had the 17'' which look too small).Got a set of edition 30 alloys which suit the mk5 a treat. Maybe get some BBS ch Replicas ?.

Not sure but I think its a pretty safe bet to say they are as they are quite big. Heres another pic of it and another GTI with RS4s

Look pretty nice in gunmetal grey

Im not sure what these are called but they are an Audi S-Line optional extra on A3, A6 and TTs. The replica versions are called Hartmann Mesh but I think you can only get these replicas over in the US.

Thank you for the pics and info Al,

the gunmetal RS4 look awesome!!

........no they don't mate. They are made by BBS but no motorsport round the bolt holes. keep an eye on ebay/pistonheads/& vw related sites as they do come up for sale every now & then. I just posted a ''wanted'' thread & soon got a reply.

The ones that come on the ED30 are called Pescara wheels and have the MotorSport text around them. The BBS CHs are identical apart from the text which goes around them.

Seeing as you are looking for alternative wheels heres mine on LMs

Hi Al,

me again matey!

I was just wondering is yours standard height? As the stance is awesome on the 18's??!!

If not what lowering springs shocks have you got? When I get the 18's should I lower 30mm or 40mm??

Thank you.

Mine is standard. It does however need lowering as its sitting a bit too high for my liking however my money has gone on other bits at the moment that need more attention. 30mm would be fine and look nice, its very personal though and depends how far down you want to go.

Have you decided what wheels your going for yet?
