How do you remove the front wings?

As title really, iv removed the bolts on the top of the wing, the one on the side next to the bumper bracket and the one that holds it onto the chassis leg. Is there one next to the jacking point? And where are the rest?

I think there are 3 screws hidden by the factory waxoil...

There are the ones along the top, two that run vertical into where the doors are and one underneath the arch into the sill.  As said, the two that go into the door area are likely to be covered in sealant... you will need to dig them out.  Oh and one behind underneath the bumper bracket!

the ones that bolt to the a pillar are a bugger to find. they are absolutely burried in the factory seam sealant.  i tool my wheels off and ran a grinder with a wire brush up the joint to find them. makes a mess of the suspension but it cleans off easy enough and makes finding htem a 5 minute job rather than 3 hours

I've found to find some factory fitted original wings are spot welded along the front door piller. Usually 3 or 4 that can be spotted when the seam sealer is removed. Not sure if this is the case with you car mate but something to concider as I found this on my mk2 restro project a while back... Looked completly original too!
