No I haven't.

Like I said in my first post it's a car I was thinking of buying and wanted to asses how much work it was to fix it up. I'm thinking of spending a bit more money and getting one with a current MOT instead.

I aint sure if i hav this problem to but when i drive n take foot off the accellerator the exhaust pops like a rally car when slowin down i thought the exhaust may be blowin but i checked it out today at work and it aint so could it be the manifold as i have a spare one i could put on.

Not to worry now folks, picked up a white one last night with 10 months MOT. Just needs the cambelt changing which I'm having done tomorrow, then I'll be on the road.
