Was it me?

I've got a set of Snap-On removers, works everytime. Although you get the shiney silver (I assume they are steel/stainless steel?) and they are extremely tough metal, I always place an old extension backwards on the nut and hammer it hard to sqaush it a little bit.

My locker went AWOL (they came with the car) and I simply hammered the extension, got a punch and turned it with a hammer. No damage to the alloy either.

chicken paste works at a push but has been known to cause severe rodent problems later down the line
