Why do you want to remap a car you've only just bought? If you do have any warranty issues you will have to lie consistently to the dealer otherwise the warranty will be void.
Oh, and don't forget to tell your insurance company; you were going to tell them weren't you?

Don't, not just yet. Wait for 6 months at least and then take the plunge if you so desire.

Re-map will definately be an upgrade i will look at. Will probably wait until the car is nearing it's 3rd birthday though.

Think i've decided this one is going to be a keeper so i want to look after it.

So in short, go for it, research it first though.

I would not remap immediately either.

Wait for engine to settle in, mine is noteably quicker now that it is 12 months old and has done 12,000 miles.

I will remap mine when it is 3 years old as well.

Bluefin for approx £550 or VW Racing package inc exhaust and filter for approx £1500 depending on budget at the time.

I will probably add uprated anti roll bars and shocks as well to compliment the upgrade.
