Hi, I'm Ben from Pembrokeshire and I've had my GTi 8v for a year and half. I've looked on this and many other forums for a while, but feel that the standard of advice is better and general vibe from other owners is much better on here, than other forums.  I hope there are some others from round my neck of the woods on this site because old Golfs are a bit thin on the ground around here.

Well, I won't argue that it was a no-holds-barred adrenaline fuelled thrill-ride, but there's no way that you could perpetrate that amount of carnage and mayhem and not incur a considerable amount of paperwork.

Quite a few from South wales mate but not as far west as you!

Figured as much.  There's an Atlas Grey GTi floating around and a hell of a lot of Mk4s.  Came here from Huntingdon where every second car was a Mk2 (slight exagg), but finding that the daily commute past the beach and sea air in general is murder on the old gal.
