A couple of GTIs playing in the Swiss Alps
« on: 19 September 2010, 19:40 »
Hello everyone

Me and some other GTI enthusiasts hit the road today and covered five mountain passes today. 6 GTIs, 1 R. Five made it to the finish, two got lost - no I'm just kidding, they went home earlier. Here are some fotos, I hope you like them:

All in one "line": 1 candy white, 1 urban grey, 1 deep blue, 4 black magic

The white one is mine:

They liked the GTIs as well:

Very pretty pictures.
The White and Blue cars really stand out.
But, why on earth did one of the drivers put a red lip on his car?

Is that GTI in the very first pic the same as the Rising Blue of the R?  If so I love it.

It's the same car, it's the only deep blue GTI in Switzerland. He now has KW coilovers and 19" Audi R8 replicas, the 17" Denvers are his winter wheels, the 18" Detroits/Monzas are standard if you order leather seats, which he did, that's why the car has Denvers and Detroits.
I don't like blue cars very much, but this deep blue pearl looks stunning in the sun.
The GTI with the red lip has 296 hp and a fantastic sound. It was intersting to see how much faster it is than the heavy R. The R didn't had a chance although it only has 30 hp less.

More pics with better quality will follow.
