Rear lights

Whats the issue with the Dim rear lights on the Mark 4's . Almost every mark 4 I drive past has dim/dark rear lights???

have a look at flebay there are lots of clear lens led rear lights to have and some lexus ones which i think look the best.

Because the rear lights are tinted on a GTIs they require 10w tail light bulbs - people dont look at the wattage and just replace with 5w ones - hence they look dim  :wink:

Lexus lights are made for lexus only, on any other car they look naff

we all like different things like clear rear lights that look like lexus ones, if we didnt then there would be a lot of standard cars around which would be a shame as a lot of people spend alot of time,money and love making there car the best they can.
some might not like certain up grades or styling but it helps to show what can be done when we put our minds and money to things.

Not a fan of many rear lights unless their the all reds or standard gti type one's.

But as said above by postie each to there own as we all like different things thank god otherwise we'd all be after the same woman :grin:
