VAGCOM Coding a Fiscon

Apologies for starting a new thread. I've put a Fiscon in behind my RCD510 and now just need to get it coded but am finding the dealers absolutely clueless. One understood after talking to the workshop but can't do it for over a week and wants £25, one wants to charge a £60 diagnostic and another won't touch it because it's 'not original VW kit'.

Anybody had any joy in the Manchester area and how much have you had to shell out?

I fitted mine, toke it to the dealer and told them I needed them to open canbus 77.
It literally took the guy 2 minutes, no charge...after spending £26k+ the least they can do is spend a few minutes sorting you out. The key is to be a nice as pie. Arriving in person is much better than phoning.

Cheers, my dealer is about an hour and a half's drive away though so I was hoping I could just barge into a local one and get it done for a few quid at worst. The one that wouldn't touch non-VW kit gave me the number for his mate who's got VAG-COM - he wants £50! Sounds like someone might be getting commission on that one.
