their is GB going on ukmkiv's, and i can get it for around £231(delivered) which is way too cheap compared to forge or THS fmic. are there any benefits/loss on getting smic over fmic

advice plz

Seriously though they are meant to be very good

AFAIK it's a straight replacement

Just find out if its got a place for the map sensor thats if you have one..

personally i think the benefits of a upgraded smic will be minimal, as the amount of air getting to the intercooler will be the same as a stock SMIC, however with a forge or THS FMIC, the amount of air getting to the intercooler is greater and therefore helps make a big difference in cooling the intake temperature.

What about getting lag cause of size of fmic  :undecided:

I read somewhere it can cause lag
