bare carbon bonnets look chav imo, if i put one on my mk2 it would be painted the body colour  but then i would be after the lightness and not the looks

grp is 1/2 the price and almost as light anyway, for non structural stuff cf is a bit overkill on cars

yeah seen a few places selling either CF or GRP, guess finish and fit wont be quite on a par with CF but for a track car who cares about that anyhow

I think CF looks awesome ... would love a carbon bonnet on my bora but cant really justify spending that much
