hi i have a 06 gti but recently the drivers door and boot will not unlock,is it easy fix or is it goin to b an expensive outcome,please help.
Try spraying wd40 into the drivers door lock, mine corroded up, and this helped as the drivers door key isnt used very often , so insert the key and spray wd40 into the lock mechanism and remove the rubber bung on the side of the drivers door, to spray onto the rear of the barrel.
Works for a while, but you will need to replace the mechanism in the door soon.
