Shell fuel save unleaded
« on: 11 September 2010, 17:31 »
Right then, when i picked up my car it was part filled with whatever jungle juice the dealers use, when that was gone i wanted to fill it with good stuff but was nowhere near a decent petrol station so ended up with supermarket crap, anyway, since then i've filled with shells finest v-power however at the time i couldn't 'really' tell the difference, so thought i'd save a few holiday pennies and try the fuel save unleaded and my god that fuel is crap!!!! Anyone else tried this stuff and feel the difference? if not don't bother! i'll be using the good stuff from now on.
Currently pootling around in our family wagen, a Tiguan SEL 😂

I have tried BP Ultimate, Shell V max whatever and Total Excellium. The latter I find is the best for me. The engine feels super smooth and I get much better mpg.

I don't think it is rubbish. Serves me well. Also, as I noticed little or no difference and as Total stations are conveniently located, I stuck with them. Remember Autocar have also used Excellium for their road tests. So it can't be that bad.

Shell V power or Tesco Momentum.

By the way asker you probably won't care about your bumper anymore once you are bluefinned.

One has nothing to do with the other.
Until the bumper is fixed, no Xenons or Bluefin!

I understand.

The upset, grief and bad feeling will be easier to live with though as you'll have a big silly grin on your face.
