That was straight forward in the end. Getting the wipers off wasnt.  Actually snapped a wiper removal tool!! Ended up using a gear puller to remove them.

Then when removing the scuttle, cracked the lower corner of the windscreen even though I barely touched it.

The bumper is held on with a myriad of torx screws and bolts in the weirdest of places. And then when wiring into the electrics board in the car, the connector broke. Luckily I had a spare repair wire to replace it. 

Coded it all up and jobs a goodun. Eventually    didnt manage to blind or irritate anyone on the way home either
