So after the service it transpires that the lid of the fuel filter wasn't seated properly  :rolleyes:  which resulted in about 5 litres of lost fuel.  Fixed that yesterday.

Coming into work this morning, coolant light chimes on......turns out the coolant hose around the front of the engine has split  :angry:

Luckily we have plenty of hose in work so I'll be back on the road later........maybe........

Have cut out the bit that was split and joined it with some a metal pipe and some jubilee clips.  Will probably replace the pipe properly....

Turns out there is more than meets the eye.....turns out the leaking fuel sprayed onto the alternator belt.  This caused the belt to fray which in turn split the coolant pipe!!  :shocked:

To say I was unimpressed would be an understatement BUT the garage offered straight away to replace the belt and coolant pipe FOC without me having to kick up a fuss  :cool:

Belt will be replaced tomorrow and the pipe will be dependent on whether or not its in stock but its not a priority as the temporary fixed held up on the way home without any signs of leaking.
