Asker

You're getting yourself more and more wound up over this xenon business.

You and Kenny had decided on the ordinary R xenons and were quite happy, then Ron throws a spanner in the works and shows you a pic of those yucky LED ones IMO they're   So stick with the originals which will be cheaper anyway I should think and be happy.

Well obviously I have the silver ones as came from the factory.  But I like the R ones in the black, so to be a bit different I would probably invest in the black one if it were me particularly if they are the same price.  Good luck.

Dude
I gotta say,yer gettin awfy wound up about WolfGangs peepers!, are they really that bad, mebbie just stick with the standard ones, after all, have you crashed cos you didn't see anything yet!. Like I said before, the gti lights are not the most fab things but are they really that bad??? I have had the same quandary for as long but when I look at the whole picture. Any moments that I have had,- none can be attributed to just not seeing stuff.............. Know what I mean?
Your choice totally.............. but being realistic???

hmmmm

Cheers    Dave (my mota is a poverty spec Mk5, (in my eyes) but I got that Revo Malarkey.......... Oh yes indeeed)

Hi Dustybones:

It's just I want my peepers to look different from stock Golfs.
I've done so much to the bugger, I might as well get his face sorted.
I also like the idea of the 'dancing Xenons'.

Besides, Amanda likes dark eyes.

BTW, it's been great fun sourcing them at a good price. It was quite a task believe me.

Next: Buy them, then fit them and code them. I love fiddling and dramas .... no I am not a DQ.

Im not a fan of the 19" wheeled golf black ones they just look ordinary.
If i was you i would wait for two reasons. 1: see the new ones in the flesh. 2: many people may want to upgrade from there older xenons to the new LED ones and so quite a few may come up for sale.

Your arguments are very compelling. Best advice so far.
Yes, it would be stupid not to wait.
I was also in two minds about the all black ones. The black and silver ones for the GTi look so delicate and unusual.
Now, I'll wait it out until 8th Nov onwards.
