That is exactly what I was  planning to do If I could not  code them  but the insides are imposible to figure out (TONS OF TINNY CABLES), that is why I want the pins or schematics, maybe Ill try to open one of them to  see the led board.

Snoops: Won't the slight bit of extra refraction destroy beam clarity a bit? 
Looks a bit naff too, IMO.

Not me personally, (touch wood) haven't see many modern headlights broken due to stones etc, and given how many miles I do a year I feel happy enough to take the risk

As above really, polycarbonate headlamps are hard as nails.

I personally wouldn't bother for the same reasons Steve's stated, i've seen worse examples in the past though.

Still waiting on lights which are on back order.. 

Got the Autoleveling cable from Kufatec and it confirms what I had suspected after a lot of reading.
The MK6 without ACC only has a rear sensor for autoleveling simplifying the wiring a bit.
Makes the total cost a bit cheaper too   

Managed to get all the other bits at good prices from Sweden to Austria, so looks like a full install now with Autoleveling and steering LED lights.
