Protecting wheels?
« on: 04 September 2010, 13:53 »
Hey guys, not sure if this is really the right section and couldn't find anything in the FAQ.

Im buying new wheels for the Audi in a couple of weeks (once I've found out if I have any nasty surprises when I get my service/pre mot checks done) and want to protect them well before they go on.

I think I've seen rim wax in shops but never been bothered as I've never had brand new wheels or shiny wheels really, so I want to do this properly. Thought about using my car wax but thought it possibly wasn't the smartest of idea's so here I am :)

Any advice/tips for layering up some protectant on silver/polished wheels would be much appreciated :)

Thanks!

i use poorboys wheel sealant, although you can use your own normal wax, just layer it up!

+1

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.
