All mk6s I've driven have the most overservoed brakes I've ever come accross. I've just got to breathe on my brakes and my airbags nearly deploy. I always had doubts about the brakes on my mk5 though, which is more or less the same system as the mk6.
Could be one of a few things Gizzy but before you go visit your dealer maybe try using your brakes quite hard a few times as the pads may have glazed if you've only been driving the car very gently and taking it easy on the brakes for a while.
