mk2 8v front discs & pads

should i buy genuine or non geniune? are the pagid ones just as good? anyone used them?

Athough I have only had a MkII for two weeks, I fitted a set of Bremsport Discs and EBC Green Stuff pads to my 1340 Mini a few months ago and after a couple of thousand of 'spirited driving' miles they still look like new and stop the car like never before. I would not fit 'cheap' discs and pads to any car again.

Main dealer parts are surprisingly cheap these days. Saying that there are some good alternatives, just be care cos theres a lot of sh!t too!

I have pagid fast roads pads on my car with standard discs and they work really well. Its dependant on your budget really, black diamond discs or similar are very nice but wont last as long as standard parts.
