weird electrics

Have recently purchased another 8v digi which has some funny electrical problems.
To start with, the mfa does nothing but the rev counter works.
The rear wiper has a mind of its own and works for a bit if i hold it or it does a few wipes and stops wherever it wants to.I swapped the relay with the one out my daily but still the same.
The horn doesnt work but havent looked too far into that one yet although i did have the relay chattering when i turned the steering wheel earlier.
Could this just be a knackered mfa stalk?

Does it just read the time??

Have the clocks been changed at any point, My White Golf had the wrong dash in it with no VAC sensor on the back.. so it just read the time and nothing else... Replaced 3 stalks til I found the issue...

Wipers could it be a loose wire in between the tailgate & roof? Had a similar issue with my red one loose wire it was!!

Horn cant be much...

Hmm not too sure if the clocks have been changed but it does only read the time,will look into that.
