Is that an A4 parked in front of the GTI, if so how does it compare with the GTI eg internal plastics and finish?

I have a mate who drives an A3 and IMHO it looks a bit dated now and some of the plastics are not up to scratch, my mate loves all things Audi and won't hear a word of criticism so I have to keep my mouth tightly zipped  (I find it very hard) LOL.

I love the xenons on my car and although they were an expensive option I think the light they give off and the look of them is ace.

All the best

Right, first things last:

Gizzy: Totally agree that the A3 looks tres dated especially the 5 door which is in  dire need of plastic surgery. I drove an S3 and I felt disconnected with the road. Plus it had a weird and lumpy ride. Made me feel physically sick. And stop rubbing in  your 'Xenon love' you evil lush! Yes we know you've now got what it takes with your latest illumination.

Kenny: I've asked for Darren and Steve to look out for Xenons. I think we will have a long wait unless we buy them from eBay and the bits from Kutec. Very pricey with the fitting.

MAW: Don't wind Kenny as he will go and retro-fit an extra pair of doors to his car! Nothing is beyond him!

Yeah, its my old mans car. My mum has an A3 aswell, 58 plate (i think) and its much nicer than the Golf inside am afraid to say :lipsrsealed: Such a nice car to drive, lovely steering wheel and really nice finishing touches inside all in all much nicer to drive than the Golf, feels more classier! Only think that lets it down is the engine.........1.6 slowmo!!!

Gizzy did you aftermarket fit Xenons or come with the car?

Am1w am thinking about asking Steve to get them for me straight from VW instead of hanging about waiting for a set on ebay! Winter is approaching! Lets be safe out there  and look good!

Kenny if we both do it, we'll be the first Mk6 owners to do so! It's a hell of a job.

Kenny, it's the law to have washers with Xenons. This will be a problem as you will need a new bumper for the washer jets and some extra plumbing, I feel. I've got washers. The self-levelling is not that hard to install as it comes as a complete kit. I bet this has put you off, sorry.

Am not bothered about having headlight washers. Ran about in my Polo with aftermarket xenons with no probs. Never knew the auto levellers came with the kit, though that wasanother add on you had to buy?

You buy the Xenons, auto levellers separately which includes wiring etc. I think!

Not 100% right, the adapters for the lights are separate from auto levellers.

Also is not a legal requirement for the washers either, that's a requirement for new cars, cars retrofitted with properly aligned xenons will have no issues with the fuzz or MOT's.
