 :shocked: how verry dar you lol i love my mk3 tho would like a mk 2 hehee but a spankin mk3 with full service history and new mot and cam belt came up at £550 plus 12% so i couldent say no  :laugh:

i owned a mk3 and it was a freaking mess. 110k miles, full service history, and oil changed every 5,000 and i had nothing but problems. decent mpg's but thats all.
it was clumsy and sluggish. with the 2.0 i have expected more
the mk4 i test drove the other day have twice the miles and ran a whole lot smoother and sounded a might bit better :grin: but it was a tdi

You had a bad one then, or prehaps its you driving thats sluggish hehee only jokeing  :tongue:
My mate has a mk4 tdi and she loves it ( though its now for sale)

My mate has a mk4 tdi and she loves it ( though its now for sale)

but all joking aside it really was a joke of a car if i had been smart and shopped before i bought i would have kept looking

Lol so u got a bad mk3 doesnt mean there all like that and full service history means crap in fact most ones i see with that have more problems with The mk4 is amazing i will prob be buying a mk4 r32 as my 2nd car when my mk3 dies if the wife will let me lol But i love the mk3 mines 16 yrs old and immaculate never had a problem and shes not sluggish and of course there will be a dif between a mk4 and a mk3  there newer and more powerfull lol

full service through vw from vw and i can still to this day call them and they can look it up. but have you own opinion on this i had a horrible experience with my mk3 and will never buy another
