First quick question, is it easy to take the dash clocks out on the mk4? I want to fit a set of chrome rings around the speedo and rev counter sections..
Second question is aliitle more technical, Ive recently replaced my engine mounts with ths ones, but im still getting a clunk sound when i let off the throttle. Could this be something in the gearbox or clutch fault??? Thanks

dead simple

pull the steering wheel out and down, unclip the bit of trim on top and then undo the two torx 10 screws

Pull clocks towards you and disconnect the cables - 5 minute job

Did you change the dog bone mount or just the main engine mounts?

i hav a clunking sound,  when i excelerated and braked especially. i jacked up the car and found my mid section mount which is mig welded to the exhaust has sheared away, now  the exhaust swings enough to cluck and this sounded as if it came from under floor pan when in my car. its an idea and easy check, quoted 20 quid to get it mig welded bk in place. might b the sound might not but thought i'd pitch in with idea. lol still not sure about rear spoilers though ha ha ha

That looks a good set, i did check the exhaust mounts as they are common problem on mk4's. My noise is coming front gearbox area which is alittle concerning
