break problems

just brought a mk3 and its been stood for a while before i brought it it came from the location fine when i parked it up and put hand break on next day the back drivers side break has stuck ive taken the cover of the hand break and u can see the cable isnt going back, any idea or suggestions would be really greatfull ov!

What exactly do you mean by not going back?  Do you mean the cable is broken or not there?

You may be able to free the breaks my pressing the brake pedal whilst stationery, this may or may not free the stuck brake but is worth a go.
